Who Knew
Croissants Could
Feel Like
This Good?
Every morning at Maggy, our ovens fire up before dawn so you can walk in to the smell of fresh-baked sourdough, buttery Danish, and espresso that actually wakes you up.
We Started With a
Baking Sheet and a
Dream
Maggy Coffee Shop wasn't planned — it was improvised, the way the best things usually are. What began as weekend baking sales at a neighborhood farmers' market on Carroll Street caught attention fast. People kept coming back, not just for the croissants (though those get mentioned a lot), but for the feeling of walking into a space that actually feels like home.
When the right space opened up on 14th Street — right in the middle of Park Slope's charming block — we took the leap. Two years later, we're still baking before sunrise, still learning something new about sourdough every week, and still treating every customer like someone we're genuinely happy to see.
Our coffee comes from roasters who share our obsession with quality. Our flour is stone-ground. Our butter is European-style because we refuse to compromise on flakiness. And our doors are always open — to neighbors, to newcomers, and to anyone who just wants a really good cup of coffee in a place that doesn't rush them out the door.
A Peek Inside
